Add frames to start a new block!

How It Works

Making an animation
1. Pose your figure

Drag the pink dots to move the arms and legs. Drag the purple dot to move the whole body.

2. Add a frame

Click Add Frame to save the current pose. Each frame is a snapshot.

3. Repeat

Move the figure a little, then add another frame. The smaller the change, the smoother the animation.

4. Play

Click Play to watch your animation. Use the speed slider to make it faster or slower. Turn on Continuous Play to loop forever.

Editing frames

Click any frame at the bottom to go back and edit it. Drag frames left or right to reorder them. Hover a frame to duplicate or delete it.

Turn on Onion Skin to see the previous frame as a faint ghost — great for making smooth movements!
Blocks

A block is a saved animation you can reuse. Once your animation looks good, click Save as Block and give it a name. Blocks appear in the My Blocks panel and can be dragged into any animation.

Click a block to open it and edit its frames independently.
Build a Sequence

Use Build a Sequence to chain blocks together with code. You can Play a block, wrap it in a Loop to repeat it, or Reverse it to play it backwards.

Sharing

Click the button on any block to share it. If you've joined a class, your block is shared only with your classmates. Otherwise it goes to the public community.

Click Public Blocks (or Group Blocks if you're in a class or group) to browse and add blocks made by others.
